Do you remember when lecture theatres looked like this?

Having been established in July 2007, with numbers steadily growing, the Retired Pharmacists' Group has become a great way for retired pharmacists to not only socialise but keep up to date with the latest developments in the worlds of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical science.

Each meeting consists of exciting presentations on topical issues which is then followed by a light lunch.

There are also opportunites for graduates to tour their old college, meet current staff and students and see some of its new facilities.

Major General David J McLachlan AO, State President, RSL (Vic Branch) 

 This special meeting will host President of the Victorian Branch of the RSL, Major General David MaLachlan AO, who will share how returned servicemen and women impacted on the profession of pharmacy.

Professor John Murtagh AM

The author of Murtagh's General Practice, will inform how doctors have used his guide to diagnose and prescribe.
24 June 11.00am - 1.00pm Ms Adriana Tiziani Will describe the latest methods for wound care management.
29 July 11.00am - 1.00pm Ms Kathy Bell, CEO, National Heart Foundation of Australia (Victorian Division) Ms Bell will inform how the Heart Foundation's suppors medical research and her work in the public education.
26 August 11.00am - 1.00pm The college's Student Ambassadors Students who are a part of the college's Student Ambassador Program will share accoutns of current student life.
30 September 11.00am - 1.00pm Professor Roger Nation Virtual Practice Environment - experience the latest technology for teaching our pharmacy students.
28 October 11.00am - 1.00pm Mr Brian Cossar Group members will be lead on a personal tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) by fellow graudate Mr Brian Cossar.
25 November 11.00am - 1.00pm Professor Louis Roller An end of year celebration whcih will also have Professor Roller speaking about 'drugs behaving badly'
