Signal transduction mechanisms modulating plant growth

In the foreseeable future, recombinant vaccines and drugs are likely to be made in genetically engineered crop plants as they provide an economic way to produce large amounts of the drug ("molecular pharming"). Obviously the more that is known about constraints on plant growth will benefit the agro-pharmaceutical industry, so we have developed two major research programs.
