The Monash Pharmacy Practice Symposium - Melbourne 2004

Innovation in teaching and learning in Pharmacy Practice

Modern Pharmacy education faces a number of challenges that are shared by many schools and practitioners. These challenges drive innovations in the way Pharmacy is taught, learnt and assessed. The challenges include class size, funding, structural requirements, technological developments and student and teacher expectations just to name a few.

This second symposium presents an opportunity for academics, preceptors and students to explore and share the experience of novel teaching in pharmacy around the world. Speakers from innovative programs around the world will present their experiences and share some of their insights into dynamic and flexible teaching in pharmacy. Workshop/PeArL sessions will be conducted to explore specific areas of interest in small group settings. This is a rare opportunity to share experiences and resources of like-minded people from around the world and to build supportive networks for future developments. View the Program in the right hand menu for details of presentations.

Due to recent world events and some uncertainty about travel arrangements for many international attendees, the Monash Pharmacy Practice Symposium has bee postponed until 15th and 16th APRIL 2004. Please contyact the organisers with any questions you might have.
