Pharmacy Education Symposium 2007
Artist in Residence - Tom Mole
We take pleasure in allowing you to bridge the work–play gap at the Symposium by offering you the services of our talented Artist in Residence, Tom Mole. The beauty of Prato is inspiring, and Tom will be on hand to capture Prato streetscapes and the people of the Symposium, so you can relive the memories at home.
Working on a nominal fee-for-commission basis to cover materials, Tom will sketch portraits and indulge his penchant for architecture. You are also welcome to view Tom's portfolio and privately negotiate with him to commission an oil or acrylic portrait.
About Tom Mole
Since completing a Masters degree in painting at London Guildhall University Tom has been painting portraits and other figurative work. Tom works primarily in oil and his recent commissioned portraits (see below) show his talent for using this medium to convey personality and detail. His general figurative paintings allow him to indulge his enjoyment of representing the human form and reflect his inspiration gleaned from poetry and classical literature. Tom also has a degree in illustration and hones his skills with work based on poetry and fiction. In addition, he occasionally teaches stone-carving to children at a London summer school.
Tom is currently working on a number of private commissions, from small portraits to sketches and other images.
