Other Accommodation

There are many other accommodation possibilities aside from those listed. Accademia Residence has been recommended, and is very close to the Monash centre.

Other options include country hotels, apartments and farmhouse accommodation. Information on accommodation in the surrounding area may be found at the  Monash University Prato site or visit the official Prato Tourism Site for information about further options.

If you stay outside of Prato and drive in each day, limited free parking is available at the centre. This parking must be arranged beforehand. There are also a number of paid municipal parking options in Prato.

Florence is another accommodation option as it is only a 13-minute train trip to Prato, and trains run every 20 minutes. The Monash Centre is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. (See the Travel  page.)
