Victorian College of Pharmacy Foundation
The Foundation was established to assist the Victorian College of Pharmacy achieve its aim of becoming recognised as one of the best schools of Pharmacy in the world. With the help of alumni, the profession, the pharmaceutical industry and other partners, the Foundation aims to establish an endowment fund that will support special projects outside the normal teaching and research revenue. This will enable the Victorian College of Pharmacy to be a major force in pharmacy education in the world and truly responsive to the needs of the profession and industry. Mr Alistair Lloyd AO (1956) is the chair of the Foundation. The Foundation is directed by a board of management who are committed to safeguarding the intentions of donors and ensuring all funds are well managed and applied appropriately. The Foundation also aims to foster long term relationships with the profession, the pharmaceutical industry, the alumni and the wider community. In 2006, the Foundation was actively involved with the college's 125th anniversary celebrations. The Cossar Club was officially launched on October 31st by the Foundation at the college. |
