Interesting fact: I’m from Malaysia.

Why pharmacy? I chose to study pharmacy because it is a rather underdeveloped field in Malaysia with a great potential for growth.

The Victorian faculty of Pharmacy, Monash University is my uni of choice as it is the oldest and one of the best pharmacy schools in Australia. Besides, it is situated in Melbourne, one of the most liveable cities in the world.

What’s the student like? For a small campus there’s certainly a lot of clubs and association at the faculty. I am most active in Parkville International Students Association, PISA, which I joined during my second year in the role of Publications Officer. I believe uni life is more than just studying. My involvements with PISA widen my friendship circle and certainly add spice to my uni life.

My favourite subject is…I love Pharmacy Practice as I feel that it is the most relevant to the pharmacy world. During the Summer break in 2006 I had an interesting stint in the Department of Pharmacy Practice doing research as part of the Summer Vacation Scholarship Program.
