Degree: Bachelor of Pharmacy Year: Second Why pharmacy? With chemistry and biology as my favourite subjects in high school, I really wanted to study a science-based course. Pharmacy was attractive because I’d have the chance to interact with people, and to work in health. What I found most appealing, however, is the fact that pharmacy offers an abundance of options. This year I have taken up the role of treasurer for the Victorian Pharmacy Students’ Association (VPSA), an organisation which aims to provide the link between pharmacy students and the pharmacy profession. I am also a committee member of Remedy, which is concerned with international health, in particular, pharmacy issues in the developing world. |
