PEP Vaccinations Information
All students participating in the Professional Experience Placement (PEP) Program are recommended to complete a series of vaccinations to help reduce the risk of cross infection which can occur between health care workers and the public with whom they interact.
Although the risk of cross infection cannot be totally eliminated, it is most important that all possible steps are taken to minimize its occurrence. You are therefore encouraged to comply with immunisation recommendations in order to proceed through the course with an acceptably low level of risk.
Vaccinations for 2007 are nearing completion and dates for 2008 will be announced early in the new teaching year. .
