PSA Alphapharm Pharmacy Student of the Year
This award for final year pharmacy students provides professional recognition of the importance of patient counselling skills. Enter for your chance to win an Alphapharm Travel Prize to attend PSA's Pharmacy Australia Congress in Perth. Find out more in your lecture on Monday July 14 at 3pm or drop into the PSA office.

Meditation
Learn two meditation practices with experienced mediation teachers from Melbourne Buddhist Centre, Brunswick. No need to come every week, just drop in when you can. Beginners and experienced meditators welcome.

Shorinji Kempo
Unlike other forms of self-defence which require physical strength and conditioned bodies, Shorinji Kempo is based on speed, balance, and body movement. In this way, a small person can overcome a larger and stronger opponent.

Swish tickets on sale!
Swish is the farewell party hosted by the Victorian College of Pharmacy Foundation for final year students. Held in a transformed Cossar Hall (we promise you won’t recognise it) the night is a classy affair. Swish will mark the end of the magic carpet ride called uni with an Arabian night.

Parkville footy comp
Monash Sport is excited to present the first annual Parkville Football Competition. It is a social sports competition for all
Parkville students, staff and alumni.  Just get a group of 6 friends, throw a few dollars together to enter, then turn up and have fun! The afternoon will finish up with a BBQ at the campus from 4pm.

Team rules: Six players on the field with a minimum number of 2 females, Substitutes’ number unlimited.
Date: Thursday 24 July 2008, 1pm.
Entry fee: $18 per team* ($3 per person). * Substitutes excluded

Grampians Rural Road Trip
WILDFIRE are heading to Halls Gap to check out this popular holiday destination and meet local pharmacists.

When: Saturday 26 July, departing from the Victorian College of Pharmacy at 8.00am and returning by approx. 8.00pm
Cost: $20 standard, $15 for a WILDFIRE member or MPSA Card Holder, $10 if you are a WILDFIRE member with an MPSA Card. Available from 14 July, see a WILDFIRE member.

Mathew Peck Travelling Scholarship - Fundrasing trivia night
The Mathew Peck Travelling Scholarship enables a Bachelor of Pharmacy student to travel overseas on an international aide program.The scholarship was established to honour the life of Mathew Peck and aims to continue his ideals and commitment to international health
